Favorite PCEO Memories

Who knew back then that PCEO would be the highlight of my career? Sure, EasyStreet is doing well, but those PCEO times were just magic (at least that’s how I remember them).

It all just came together: it was the right time in my life, the right time at Intel, the right time in the industry. We accomplished some great things: we built some world-class, award-winning products. We competed against the best in the industry and won. We left a legacy at Intel that is still carried forward. But for me, it was the people and the team. PCEO was the first time that I really learned what teamwork can do—how having everyone pulling in the same direction and believing passionately in what you were doing can produce incredible results and a tremendous sense of satisfaxtion. And unique bonds with the people that did it.

The PCEO experience changed me in many ways. It ended the phase of me trying to prove to myself that I was as good as I thought I was. And it provided the foundation to go off and do all the things, business and otherwise that I’ve done since. There isn’t a week that goes by that I don’t reapply (or at least try to) the lessons learned there. The lessons learned from you all. Thanks for changing my life.

If I could do it over again

I wouldn’t change a thing.
